One of the best cities to visit in the Spring of 2011 in Europe is Edinburgh. It has a couple of nicknames the best known being Athens of the North.

At the end of summer Edinburgh draws in thousands of visitors to its various festivals. The most popular in recent times in the comedy festival also known as "The Fringe" Festival.
